Dr. Shiv Singh is a dynamic scientist based at CSIR-Advanced Materials and Process Research Institute, and he also serves as an Assistant Professor at AcSIR, located in the vibrant city of Bhopal, India. His academic journey led him to the pinnacle of expertise, earning his Ph.D. in Chemical Engineering from the prestigious Indian Institute of Technology, Kanpur, between 2010 and 2015.
Dr. Singh's professional trajectory is nothing short of remarkable. He possesses a unique skill set in the synthesis of cost-effective, chemical vapor deposition-grown graphitic carbon electrode materials. This specialized knowledge places him at the forefront of cutting-edge research.
In his current role, Dr. Singh is actively engaged in pioneering fields such as microbial fuel cells, microbial electrolysis cells, electro-bio-chemical CO2 reduction, and the development of innovative electrochemical sensors for monitoring water pollutants. His work contributes significantly to addressing pressing global challenges in sustainable energy and environmental remediation.
Dr. Singh's contributions extend far beyond the laboratory, with over 50 publications to his name in esteemed international journals, including Chemical Engineering Journal, Journal of Materials Chemistry A, Nano Energy, Chemical Communications, Electrochimica Acta, Journal of Hazardous Materials, Microchimica Acta, and Trends in Environmental Analytical Chemistry. Additionally, he holds an Indian patent, a testament to his innovative thinking and commitment to practical solutions. He has also shared his insights through valuable contributions to several book chapters.
